The Borough of Macungie Zoning Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial body comprised of three (3) members each having a three (3) year term, all of whom are appointed by Borough Council and must be residents of Macungie Borough. Each Zoning Board member is compensated $15 per appeal for their services.
The Zoning Hearing Board conducts legally binding hearings and renders decisions on appeals, variances, and special exceptions to the Borough's zoning ordinance.
The Zoning Hearing Board meets to conduct public hearings on submitted applications on the second (2nd) Wednesday of every month at 7:30 P.M. in Borough Council Chambers, Borough Hall, 21 Locust Street, Macungie, PA
Board members are encouraged to attend education and training seminars.

Zoning Permits are accepted during Borough Hours of Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
